Mr. Mohamed Amine ES-SOUFI | Civil Engineering | Young Researcher Award
Research Assistan | university of bordeaux | France
Mohamed Amine Es-Soufi is an engineer and doctoral researcher in civil engineering, specialized in soil and material studies with a strong experimental and analytical approach applied to geotechnics, structures, and environmental engineering. He holds dual engineering diplomas in civil engineering from Polytech Clermont-Ferrand and the Ecole Hassania des Travaux Publics, after completing preparatory classes in Morocco with a top national ranking and earning a mathematics-focused baccalaureate with highest honors. His professional background includes research and development experience at Soletanche Bachy International, site management training with Colas Rhône Alpes Auvergne, and teaching responsibilities in soil mechanics and slope stability at the IUT of Bordeaux. His doctoral research at the University of Bordeaux in collaboration with Geotec focuses on the behavior of clayey soils under drought cycles, shrink-swell phenomena, and the development of innovative stabilization techniques using nano-silica to enhance soil performance and reduce volumetric variations. His research interests center on geotechnical engineering, soil-structure interaction, sustainable construction materials, and environmental resilience of infrastructure. He has presented his work at leading national and international conferences and achieved recognition through awards such as the Public Prize and Jury distinctions in the competition. Combining academic excellence, practical engineering expertise, and innovative research, he demonstrates strong potential to advance geotechnical solutions for infrastructure durability and environmental sustainability.
