She earned her Ph.D. in Digital Media and Publishing from Wuhan University, an M.S. in Publishing from Pace University, New York, and a B.A. in English from Chongqing University. Dr. Liu’s research focuses on the digitization of ethnic cultures—particularly Tibetan heritage—using artificial intelligence, metaverse technologies, and interactive storytelling. She also works on intelligent publishing platforms and digital cultural tourism systems. She has led and contributed to major national research programs funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology. Her work has earned her numerous national and international awards, including multiple first prizes at Milan Design Week China and the China Creative Challenges Contest.
