Dr. Abdallah Sayed Mossalem Ahmed Elshafei holds a PhD in Economics from Cairo University, graduated with First Honors in 2019. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Economics and an Economic Diploma from the same university, both with very good grades, in 2015 and 2012, respectively. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University, which he completed in 2001.

  • Dr. Elshafei has a vast teaching experience, having taught a variety of courses at several academic institutions. These include Principles of Economics & Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Money and Banking, Banking System, International Banking Operation, Economic Studies in English, Banking Studies in English, Engineering Economics, Letter of Credit & Letter of Guarantee, SWIFT Messaging, Portfolio Management (English section) at Misr University for Science and Technology, Credit Management (English section) at Misr University for Science and Technology, and Financial Market (English section) at Misr University for Science and Technology.
  • Dr. Elshafei has held several leadership roles in various academic and professional settings. He is the Control Head at the Higher Institute for Administration and Financial Sciences and Information Systems (2020-2023). He has also been involved in Quality Unit Management and contributed to the Self-Evaluation and Program/Course Specifications efforts at the Faculties and Institutes of Higher Education (National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education certificates). Additionally, he has served as Head of the Department of Banking Sciences and Internal Audit Head at the National Planning Institute (2009-2020).
