Dr. Mohamed Gad holds a strong academic background in geology and hydrogeology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology from Tanta University, Egypt. He then pursued his Master of Science in Hydrogeology at Menoufia University, Egypt, completing. Building on his expertise, he obtained a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences with a specialization in Hydrogeology from the Environmental Studies and Research Institute at the University of Sadat City, Egypt. He has been serving as an Associate Professor at the same institute, contributing to research and academic advancement in the field of hydrogeology.

Professional Experience

Dr. Mohamed Gad has extensive professional experience in hydrogeology and environmental sciences, both in academia and applied research. He has been serving as an Associate Professor of Hydrogeology at the Environmental Studies and Research Institute, University of Sadat City, Egypt. He was appointed Director of the General Service Center and also serves as a board member and technical consultant for the Public Service Center. In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Gad acts as a reviewer for technical reports in legal disputes, reflecting his recognized expertise in the field. He is also a Senior Hydrogeologist and Technical Project Manager at Environmental Horizons Co. in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he leads environmental and water management projects across the MENA region. His key project roles include Principal Investigator for a national study on water and sediment monitoring at the University of Sadat City and Co-Investigator on a Saudi Ministry of Education project integrating water quality indices with remote sensing and machine learning. He also manages technical projects such as environmental site assessments for agrochemical production, and serves as a consultant for initiatives focused on wastewater reuse impacts and land degradation rehabilitation in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Mohamed Gad’s research interests lie at the intersection of hydrogeology, hydrogeochemistry, and environmental science. His work focuses on groundwater and surface water resource assessment, with a particular emphasis on water quality monitoring and management. He is deeply engaged in geochemical modeling and multivariate analysis to understand complex environmental processes and trace contaminants such as trace elements and heavy metals. Dr. Gad also investigates the impacts of environmental pollution, aiming to develop effective strategies for contaminant tracing and mitigation.
