Nikolaos (Nikos) Mantadakis is a Greek civil engineer and researcher specializing in the numerical modeling and analysis of floating offshore structures, with a strong focus on the co-exploitation of wind and wave energy systems. His research integrates computational hydrodynamics, structural dynamics, and hydroelasticity to develop advanced simulation frameworks for hybrid offshore energy platforms. He has contributed to the development and validation of computational tools such as HAMS-MREL and has published in leading journals including Renewable Energy and the Journal of Marine Science and Engineering. His works address aero-hydro-servo-elastic coupling, hydrodynamic interactions, and resilience assessment of marine and coastal infrastructure. As part of his scientific engagement, he has actively participated in the COST Action “WECANet,” promoting European collaboration in marine renewable energy research, and contributed to the conceptual design of the FORCYS floating offshore wind turbine. Takwa Hamdi is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering from Gabes, Tunisia, specializing in advanced combustion modeling and alternative fuels.
