Professor Zhanwei Liu is a distinguished faculty member and master’s supervisor at Shijiazhuang Tiedao University, China, with research expertise spanning intelligent optimization algorithms, computer vision, and cross-disciplinary engineering applications, emphasizing the enhancement of algorithmic convergence, stability, and efficiency. He has significantly contributed to the development of intelligent optimization frameworks, multi-UAV path planning, and image processing systems, integrating artificial intelligence with complex engineering problems. He is an active member of the China Computer Federation (CCF) and the China Automation Society (CAA), also serving as a Provincial Science and Technology Commissioner, licensed technology transfer professional, and core member of provincial innovation teams, contributing to advancements in smart transportation, digital twin technologies, and engineering informatics. His primary research focuses on intelligent optimization algorithms, biomimetic swarm intelligence, computer vision, and complex system modeling, emphasizing adaptive strategies, transfer learning, and deep learning for improved performance in real-world engineering systems. Professor Liu’s exceptional academic and industrial achievements have earned him several provincial and national-level awards, including the Hebei Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award, Scientific and Technological Progress Prizes, and Industry-University-Research Collaboration Awards, along with recognition as a “Bohai Talent” Outstanding Contributor and as a developer of national technical standards for railway infrastructure monitoring.
